Heirloom Trust

Heirloom Trust was a design project that took on the task of creating a brand identity and various deliverables for an heirloom seed company. The company prided itself on preserving and cultivating rare, open-pollinated seed varieties that had been passed down for generations.

For this design, I delved into the company's history and philosophy, creating a brand that was steeped in tradition and authenticity. Crafting a logo that featured a seedling sprouting into the left stroke of the H in the company’s name. I chose black, white and green for the color scheme, evoking the natural beauty of the seeds themselves.

The website was designed to showcase the company's seed collection and educate customers about the importance of preserving heirloom varieties. The site featured a clean, easy-to-navigate layout, with stunning photographs of the different seed types. I also created a section on the site dedicated to the history and origin of each seed variety.

For the packaging of the seeds, a unique design was created that reflected the brand's values. The seeds were packaged in small, reusable glass jars, adorned with the same illustrations as the logo. The jars were labeled with the seed type and a brief description of its history and origin.

Finally, I crafted social media posts that showcased the beauty of the seeds and highlighted the brand's commitment to preserving rare varieties. Using striking images of the seeds and plants, along with engaging captions that drew customers in and educated them about the importance of heirloom varieties and their usage.

Overall, the Heirloom Trust was a successful design project that created a strong brand identity for an heirloom seed company. The attention to detail and commitment to the brand's values resulted in deliverables that were not only visually stunning but also highly effective in promoting the company's mission.
